Rhodesian Leopard Mine Protected Vehicle

The Rhodesian Leopard mine protected vehicle, designed in 1974 one of the first of the mine resistant vehicles that would come to be known to the world in later decades with the adoption of the mine resistant vehicle concept by militaries outside of Africa.

The Leopard has quite an unusual shape not very similar to modern MRAPs with the exception of the V-shaped hull. The vehicle used VW Kombi parts for the drivetrain.

If you would like to see one in person there is a surviving late production version at the Imperial War Museum in Manchester, that version features a single door at the back. I went for the earlier version with the double door due to reference photos showing primarily that variant.

This vehicle will be implemented into the Bushwar mod for ARMA Reforger as they feature African Cold War era conflicts.
